MANAGING FOOD ALLERGIES

Eight foods, or “The Big 8”, account for 90 percent of all food-allergic reactions in the U.S.: milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts (e.g., walnuts, almonds, cashews, pistachios, pecans), wheat, soy, fish, and shellfish.

Yet our local schools, restaurants, grocery stores, and other public places still need to support food allergic individuals as we develop an action plan they can LIVE with!

As you may know, to manage your food allergies successfully, you must be vigilant with your diet and lifestyle. Always carry your up-to-date rescue medication & auto-injector on your person at all times. While these changes seem challenging and overwhelming at first, over time things will get easier. You are not alone. Contact us, we’re here to help.
